This the same Eve Guardian that gets written up in major UK gaming magazines, yeah they must be suffering a slump in circulation.
Those that say there have been no quotes from the people involved might want to read the article again and find out exactly what Stan Bowman was saying when he said :
"It has some validity"
There is a source to this story, skimming is a well known problem and if SA do not have the procedures in place to check if it is happening then they leave themselves open to these sort of accusations.
Shadow Company may be totally blameless in this but, if they can "skim" then someone is going to claim they are skimming.
SA must protect the corps they use to adminster the stations to ensure procedures are such that they can refute these claims easily when they occur.
This has become a story simply because they cannot or will not produce that evidence it seems.

having read the follow up piece, Shar does not reveal the source of her information but does fill out the nature of that source a little more.
And if i may quote from that article: "In this particular case a person very close to the corporation in question, Shadow Company, approached Eve Guardian"
Maybe Shar could have tried to find out more details but what is she going to find out. Something along the lines of: Shadow Company denies wrong-doing.
SA claim they cannot be ripped off by members handling their station operations.
Shadow Company are going to say that whatever their involvement and SA will not wish to admit there is a weakness in their audit process, that is the nature of things.
I dont know any details of the situation at all and before you all leap on me for that, consider this.
If there is no wrong-doing only the source of the story knows why they were motivated to do as they did.
If there has been wrong-doing maybe two-three people know about it.
Everyone else is guessing.

good idea dont make any useful comments about the news piece just make an unwarranted personal attack in the effort to start a flame war.
I suggest Shar continues the good work on Eve Guardian and rather than let those involved defend themselves on a public forum by creating this post just publish and be dammed.
As the general level of debate on these forums is pretty much summed up by the above post.
